The Law: Timetable for learning assessments

The chart below shows how quickly a learning assessment must proceed according to the law. It is important to be aware of your rights to ensure your child gets a fair and timely assessment. In total a learning assessment may take no longer than 275 days. This is slightly more than 9 months or the typical length of a school year.
