Description

Today's youth are living in a complex society which causes them to face a multitude of problems such as poor school performance, arrest, abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy, inadequate supervision, substandard living conditions, and alcohol/drug abuse. P.A.L. realizes that not all youths have these problems, but does offer an environment that would deter a youth from becoming involved in anti-social behavior. It is the goal of P.A.L. to monitor and assess the needs of youths throughout Baltimore County and provide an opportunity for these young people to interact with police officers in a positive setting that offers an outlet for social and athletic programs.
