Program
A full-day Kindergarten program, versus the half day in our county school. Despite the cost, which leads a parent to expect more, there is an impressive curriculum. Great diversity of subjects taught by experienced teachers. Homework given most nights. Expectations are a bit high for Kindergarten behavior. Our son needed a bit more assistance and encouragement with that. Parent involvement is good. Busy calendar of events. Leadership is capable, with some room for improvement. Discipline is a tad over-reactive. Communication was good but occasionally delayed. Excellent technology integration (e-mail, website, etc). Very good after-school activity choices. Overall, a good alternative academic choice for most families.
