Feeding is a Special Time With Your Baby

Feeding is a wonderful time for positive contact with your baby. Moms, dads, and other family members may enjoy using this time to be close with the baby. While feeding your young baby, try to capture her gaze. Imitate the sounds and movements she makes. With older babies and toddlers, keep on interacting at meals. Talk with your child about food preparation. Name food colors. Find other ways to use mealtime as family time.
