Some children are very sensitive. They can be vulnerable to things they see and hear. They may cry when see an accident. Some TV programs may get them very upset. Adult discussions may bother them. Respect your child and shield him/her from upsetting content. Be sure to discuss serious topics with your child in a calm, reasonable way. Unnecessary exposure to upsetting things will hurt your child in the long run.
