Drawing Out Your Child

Drawing Out Your Child

Some children are shy and withdrawn. They may not look for fun experiences on their own. They may not even enjoy the same things that other children enjoy. As a parent, it's your job to encourage your child to have fun experiences. Show your child new games. Get them involved with an after school activity. Respond to their interests. Most importantly, take time to laugh together. Your child will become more involved and less withdrawn when you invest time in drawing him/her out.
