The Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) is a private, nonprofit school serving children from infancy to age 21 who are blind, visually impaired and multiply disabled. MSB serves students from every county of Maryland and Baltimore City.

Services Provided

The Maryland School for the Blind educates children and youth with visual impairments, including those with multiple disabilities for functional independence. We provide a traditional classroom education, including math, reading and science, in addition to a wide range of other services, including: Braille & low vision instruction, orientation & mobility, assistive technology, therapeutic recreation, residential services, career education, health & dental services, psychology, social work, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, outreach, transition, audiology and infant/toddler services.
