Program
Provides information and support for the parents and teachers of gifted children with learning disabilities (including ADHD). The concept of having a child who is both gifted and learning disabled (GT/LD, twice-exceptional) is difficult for some parents and educators to comprehend. This parent-run organization works closely with the Howard County Public School System to communicate the needs of this twice-exceptional group of students. The focus is two-fold: teacher education and student support.
