You are what you eat! Investigate the chemistry of food. Conduct experiments on the presence of sugar, starches, fats, proteins, calcium, salt, acid and other chemicals. Discover why too much sugar can you hyperactive. What are the best foods to make bones and to make muscles? What are calories and how many do you need each day? What happens when fruit becomes discolored? Why is there calcium propionate in your bread and iodine in your salt? Make ice cream, pickles, and fries. Learn how to read food labels and make smart choices.
