Rock Shop, a Rock-N-Roll Workshop for Aspiring Musicians. So you want to be a rock-n-roll star? Maybe you want to learn how to play the drums or write songs like your favorite artist. Or maybe you just want to meet some new friends who are as interested in music as you are. Rock Shop is a music camp in which young rock-n-rollers and rock-n-roller wannabes get to experience the thrill and sweat of playing in a band and creating and recording original music.

Throughout the two weeks, campers are regarded as musicians, assigned to bands from the first day. The bands, which will be grouped according to age, learn cover songs, write originals, and record in the camp studio. In addition, camper-musicians receive daily instrument and/or vocal instruction, attend morning assemblies featuring guest and staff musicians, and perform in a final concert attended by family, friends, and other Friends summer campers.
