INITIAL CONSULTATION Conduct comprehensive review of the child's educational history Interview parents to determine family values and goals Discuss the child's strengths, weaknesses, interests and talents Share general information about potential school alternatives FULL DAY SCHOOL SERVICE/FULL BOARDING SCHOOL SERVICE Conduct in-depth school search Interview the student Administer preliminary achievement test and obtain a writing sample Confer with parents to discuss specific school recommendations and procedures Compile and review relevant school information such as transcripts and teacher recommendations Counsel the family regarding the final school decision
