Description

The Mood Disorders in Adolescents and Young Adults Program (MAP) at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a specialized treatment program for adolescents and young adults (ages 12-22 years old) who are currently experiencing mood or anxiety symptoms. The program is run by a multi-disciplinary team with significant expertise and experience providing evaluation and ongoing outpatient treatment.

Eligibility Requirements

MAP treats adolescents and young adults, ages 12 to 22, with diagnoses of: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) Bipolar I Disorder Bipolar II Disorder Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) Dysthymic Disorder No substance abuse No unmanaged major medical illness
