The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is a federally funded program that provides healthy foods and nutrition counseling to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five.

Who WIC serves: • Pregnant women • New moms or Breastfeeding moms • Infants • Children under the age of five You must: • Be a Montgomery or Prince George's County resident • Meet the income guidelines • Have a nutritional need You can: • Have a job or be unemployed • Own a home or live with friends or relatives • Be married or single • Be in the military • Receive SNAP (Food Stamps), Medical Assistance or Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) • Be a father, mother, guardian, or grandparent and apply for benefits for an infant or child under the age of 5
