Avoid Fatty Foods for Breakfast

Some of the medicines that are effective for ADHD are less well absorbed if taken with a fatty meal. Adderall and related medicines may be delayed in the time they start to work if the child has bacon, whole eggs, full fat yogurt or other high fat foods. If the time to onset has not been a problem you do not need to avoid these foods.
