Bicycling

Riding bikes is great exercise, and it can help children learn to be more coordinated. It is very important that your child always wears a helmet when he bicycles. Teach your child the rules of the road, like stopping at stoplights and stop signs and looking both ways before crossing the street. Try biking with your child to show her safe places to ride. Or, have your child bike with you while you go for a jog or walk.
