From their website: "The Parents of Children with Autism support group holds monthly meetings on the last Saturday of every month. We are based in Mesquite, Texas. We sponsor speakers on different subjects important to families with a child that has special needs. We also, sponsor special activities for the children, and some for the whole family to enjoy. Our goals are to raise awareness of the increasing numbers of autism, advocate for our children, make parents aware of the updates on the latest research, and support and friendship from other parents. Our main reason for being is to get the parents answers to their questions, and information to help them make informed choices for their children, and to make a difference in our children's lives."
