The Anne Arundel County Department of Health provides women of childbearing age access to a variety of reproductive health services. The services include help with pregnancy planning, pre-conception counseling, information about various contraceptive methods, health education, physical examinations, Pap tests, breast examinations, information about STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), and free pregnancy testing. Colposcopy Services are available for women with abnormal Pap tests who need specialized medical care. Adolescent Health Services for young women and men under 20 years of age. Services are provided at 3 community health centers. Health educators are available for parent and teen group presentations on topics such as: abstinence, setting goals, decision making, self-esteem, birth control, STDs, and parental involvement in talking to their children about sexuality. Services provided include: sexual health education; free pregnancy testing; confidential or anonymous HIV testing; screening and treatment for STD's; counseling and referrals; and birth control. Health educators are available for parent and teen group presentations on topics such as: abstinence, setting goals, decision making, self-esteem, birth control, STD's, and parental involvement in talking to their children about sexuality.

Fees for services are on a sliding scale based on family income; medical assistance and participating insurance plans are accepted.
