There are many different activities that the children participate in that make Cradle Beach Camp so much more than an ordinary camp. From basketball to swimming, to culinary arts, computers, drama and dance - the diversity of our program makes a difference!
The resident camp serves children, 9 through 16 years of age, who might otherwise be excluded from general camp programs because of physical or mental handicaps, emotional difficulties, or economic disadvantage. Among the types of handicaps and disorders which affect the children are asthma/allergy, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Down's Syndrome, heart defects, hyperactivity, seizures, spina bifida, visual defects and deafness. Referrals for the camp come from dozens of social service and health agencies, physicians and schools.
