Description

J.O.Y. School is a non-profit, non-denominational program for students ages four through twenty-one who have mental disabilities. It runs from late June through late July every summer. The main purpose of J.O.Y. School is to help the students retain the skills which they have worked so hard to gain during the regular school year. Since it a summer program, we also try to have a little fun! Swimming at the YMCA, stories at the library, physical exercise, music, and art activities all combine to make it a happy time as well as being educational.
