Description

The mission of Aspen Camp School for the Deaf (ACSD) is to provide enriching and effective educational and recreational experiences for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. Also, ACSD aspires to increase public awareness and sensitivity toward deafness. The purpose of Aspen Camp School for the Deaf is to develop and motivate a sense of self-confidence, independence, and pride in personal accomplishments; to develop self-reliance; to encourage a network of sharing with others; and to recognize each individual's abilities as participating members of society. Also, ACSD can provide assistance and resources to those who care for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.
