Description

"Capital Camps was founded in 1987, with it's first summer season in 1988. The agency was born as the result of a UJA camp planning committee in July 1985. This group concluded that successful Jewish camps have a lasting and positive impact on the lives of campers and their community. The main purpose of the camp is to provide a summer camp program for children and retreat opportunities to the Jewish community." (www.capitalcamps.org)
