Open Bible Christian Academy, established in 1949, celebrates over fifty years of successful operation as one of the oldest Christian schools in the Baltimore area. Founded on the belief that children need to be taught and nurtured in a Christian atmosphere, Open Bible has maintained a quality of academic excellence that is equaled by few. Our emphasis on strong academic skills as well as Biblical knowledge and Christian behavior has produced thousands of exceptional students
All Ages
Preschool/Kindergarten (3-5), School Age (6-12), Adolescence (13-21)
Our curriculum is Christian based, utilizing texts from Abeka and Bob Jones. In this way, all studies are approached from the Christian viewpoint. In the high school, students have the singular opportunity of taking math, science, and foreign language from B.J. LINC, a live, interactive, satellite networked classroom originating from the Bob Jones University. In addition to basic courses, we offer gym, music, art and computer. Our high school offers laboratory classes in biology, chemistry and physics, advanced math, foreign languages, speech, drama, and yearbook.
