Social Withdrawal Problem

Social Withdrawal Problem

You said you were concerned that your child doesn't like to interact with people. It also seems to interfere with his normal development and activities. Your child may have a temperament that makes them inhibited. Or there may be psychological reasons for why your child doesn't like to interact. For instance, your child may be less socially skilled than other children. Or your child may vary in his ability and desire to interact with people.

These problems can be frustrating for to deal with since your infant or toddler can't speak yet and tell you his feelings. You may feel your parenting has contributed to these problems in some way. There probably many things that are causing your child to not want to interact with people. Talk to your doctor, even if you have talked about it before. Your doctor will have suggestions to help you and your child.
