What is interpersonal intelligence?

People who are interpersonally smart understand people. Usually this kind of intelligence starts very early in life. These babies and children may be very social and friendly. As adults, they are good at figuring out what other people are feeling, what they want and what they like. They are also good at motivating and organizing groups of people to do things. Other people look to them as a leader and friend. Likely careers are as a psychologist or teacher. Religious leaders are often "people smart". Also politicians use their people skills to get things done. Other likely choices are careers in sales or advertising.
