Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland offers a comprehensive education in both classical ballet and contemporary dance through its belief in arts immersion. Combining precision technique based on European models with personal attention and intensive training, the Institute provides students with skills for the present and tools for the future, whether they choose to become dancers or not. Since its founding more than ten years ago in Columbia, Maryland, Ballet Royale Institute has become the premier dance academy in the metropolitan Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas, serving dance students of all ages and experience, as well as the local community. The school is based on getting to know the students as people and getting to know each one's individual character. Alumni have received prestigious awards and gone on to successful professional careers.
