Program
The Howard County Center for the Arts is a valuable community resource where citizens of all ages can take classes, artists can work and teach in a low-cost stable environment, and community arts organizations can establish themselves. The Center is also an important presenter for the visual and performing arts of both professional and emerging artists. They also offer Musical Theatre for young adults with mild to moderate disabilities. Participants will sing, dance, and act while performing segments from one of Broadway's famous musicals. There will be a performance for the public during the final class. This program is a cooperative effort with Howard County Recreation and Parks Office of Therapeutic services.
