Description

Four weeks of classes are offered in the summer. Classes are two hours long and are designed for youth ages 7 -14. Subjects include three-dimensional arts such as ceramics, mask-making and papercrafts, as well as painting, drawing, and photography. During the school year, the Center offers a free, walk-in program to the children in our neighborhood of South Baltimore through a partnership with area public schools who no longer offer art as part of its curriculum. The Center presents a series of eight-week workshops (more than 200 hours each year) that are taught by artists at two schools and at the Center. Workshop topics include painting, drawing and printmaking, puppetry, photography and ceramics.
