OUTWARD BOUND COMPASS programs offer leadership experiences that last a lifetime? Currently operating throughout the state of Maryland and in the city of Philadelphia, the Mid-Atlantic Outward Bound Centers weave Outward Bound's core principles into the fabric of their communities through powerful partnerships with schools, school districts, local and regional youth-serving organizations, businesses and civic leaders. To date more than 35,000 people across the Mid-Atlantic region have experienced the life-shaping power of Outward Bound through classrooms set in remote and beautiful wilderness areas ranging from Western Maryland to Center City Philadelphia.
