Program
Services and supports are provided 365 days per year 24 hours per day in single family homes with spacious yards in residential communities with access to transportaion, shopping, schools, work, recreation, and medical services. This program provides services to transitioning youth ages 17 to 21 years whose primary disabilities are mental retardation and severed behavioral and/or emotional problems. Programs emphasizes life skills, social-emotional development and behavior controls, leisure time skills, individual and family couseling, and coordination with educational services and transitioning services. An individualized step-by-step set of goals are utilized with each youngster to build skills for increased integration into the community at large and lessen the intensity of future intervention.
