Description

The Arc of Maryland (formerly the Association for Retarded Citizens) has been working to improve the lives of children and adults with mental retardation since 1950. From modest beginnings as a small group of concerned parents, to the largest and strongest organization assisting persons with mental retardation in Maryland, The Arc has led the way in promoting new program methodology and utilizing state of the art technology to benefit individuals with mental retardation and their families.
