"This tape is about the achievements of children who have been successfully integrated into regular public school programs following intense early intervention. Prior to public school these children were all helped to achieve optimal health and development by the Ken-Crest program for medically-fragile and technology-dependent children. The tape begins with Daniel, age 6, at school. In interviews his teachers talk about his success in learning to eat and in beginning sign language. His mother and father describe his complex problems and the progress he continues to make. In the stories of other children from the Ken-Crest program, parents and teachers talk about the ability of the children to flourish in a regular environment and to build new academic and social skills." -Child Development Media, Inc.
