"This video was developed to teach parents alternatives to spanking, hitting, and slapping their children 4-12 years. Three real-life situations are presented in which parents spank, hit and slap their children. During each scene the viewer is asked to pause the video, consider what occurred, and brainstorm alternative, non-violent parenting practices. When the video resumes, a number of useful discipline techniques are demonstrated.
