Resource Type

Organization - Private, Non-Profit

Description

As one of the largest non-profits in the East Bay, we are most often associated with our residential programs, which provide education, family and individual therapy, and a safe haven for troubled youth. In recent years, we have dramatically expanded our services to implement community-based mental health and social service programs, and have adjusted our residential programs to serve a specific population of critically underserved youth: those dually diagnosed with both developmental disabilities and emotional impairment. The assistance we provide is innovative and in some cases unique in the country. Fred Finch has residential programs in Oakland, Vacaville, and San Diego, as well as community-based programs in San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties. Our goal is for clients to be professionally served in the least restrictive environment appropriate to their needs so that they may function at their highest potential.
