Description

Oakland Day Treatment began in 1952 and was one of the first day treatment programs in the nation. Today we serve 18 seriously emotionally disturbed children from ages 5 to 12 who are unable to function in a regular public school setting. Each child receives individualized academic and counseling services and all participate in a highly structured therapeutic environment designed to improve academic achievement and social skills.
