The Juvenile Justice Clearinghouse (JJC), a component of the National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS), has been meeting the information needs of the juvenile justice field since 1979. The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) established JJC to provide individuals and organizations with easy access to a comprehensive collection of information and resources on juvenile justice topics. Through print and other media, JJC offers the latest research findings, descriptions of promising programs, publications on youth-related issues, practical guides and manuals, announcements of funding opportunities, and other useful resources?all prepared by the Nation's foremost experts in juvenile justice and related issues.
