The Gow School is the nation's oldest boarding school for dyslexic boys in grades 7-12. The School was founded in 1926 and is located in the rural town of South Wales, New York. Gow's preparatory curriculum is presented in small classes through a multi-sensory format within a technology rich environment. The 4:1 student faculty ratio allows focus on the remediation of dyslexia and language-based learning disabilies (reading, written expression and central auditory processing) through a phonics based program called Reconstructive language.
