At La Familia, through our programs, we continue to work to make this statement a reality. In our work with children and families we know we must help them overcome the effects of abuse and neglect that have brought them to our doors. They come to us for help in rebuilding their lives through our Deaf Group Home, through Treatment Foster Care, and to find a forever family through our Adoption program. Our School Based Social Work program helps high risk youth complete high school. Case Management and Family Stabilization Services ensure that families are successful in parenting their children. Pregnant women and teens are counseled to choose the best plan for their unborn child and many of those babies will transform a couple into a family through adoption. La Familia's mission is to be the Children's Safety Net; assuring health, safety and nurturing for all of New Mexico's children.
