Description

In collaboration with a variety of service agencies, BACS is able to provide clients supportive and ongoing care, ultimately helping to keep them connected to their communities. Adults with mental illness turn to BACS for programs that help them manage their symptoms, locate afforable housing, develop independent living skills as well as job-seeking skills, ultimately empowering them to move toward a greater level of self-sufficiency. BACS' Older Adult Programs protect and sustain seniors, allowing them to remain in their homes, which hold many memories. Through day socialization programs, transportation services, links to affordable and reliable home care and Meals on Wheels service, we keep seniors from becoming isolated or suffering from self-neglect. BACS' elder abuse prevention services ensure that seniors living by themselves are protected from financial or other forms of abuse.
