This is the second study sponsored by the NAADAC Education and Research Foundation, of annual incomes and related characteristics of alcohol and drug counselors across the United States. The results reported here are an excellent representation of the 1994 annual incomes of counselors and other addiction professionals. This report also covers many other characteristics of NAADAC's diverse membership: the types and sizes of organizations that employ members, the characteristics of members who are self-employed, types of secondary employment and 1994 earnings from secondary employment, types of credentials and certifications, years of employment in the field, educational attainment, age, gender, and recovering status.
