Washington County Human Development Council realizes that persons with disabilites are no longer content to be passive participants of decisions or services. Its professionals, along with the individual, work together to develop a personalized plan targeting specific needs and preferences. The staff realize that independence and personal choices are the most valuable component of a full life. Therefore, Washington County Human Development Council provides a specialized and comprehensive range of services. its programs have expanded over the years and will continue to grow to meet both indivudal and community needs.
