Description

The goals of ILP are to enable eligible youth to achieve self-sufficiency prior to leaving the foster care system through the continuum of emancipation. Providing living skills assessments, basic living education, vocational training, job seeking, individualized services and a written Transitional Living Living Plan for each youth assists in achieving the goal. It is a top priority of YFS to make the Independent Living Program available and accessible to all eligible youth in Solano County.
