Description

A statewide, nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of children and adults with serious mental illnesses and their families. Offers mental health telephone support services in 6 areas: Help Line (a toll-free confidential phone service), Family to Family (educational forums taught by families to families), Support Groups (confidential peer-to-peer meetings), Education (conferences and workshops for families, consumers and practicioners), Advocacy (addresses individuals and public policy issues), Visions for Tomorrow (education course for caregivers of children with brain disorders). Can make referrals for Spanish-speaking counseling services, but unable to offer assistance in Spanish on the phone.
