Description

The Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program directs a family-centered system of early intervention services for young children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. Infants and Toddlers is a system of early intervention and supports, offered by public and private agencies through out the state to young children with developmental delays and their families. In each local jurisdiction a lead agency operates a single point of referral, coordinates and/or provided assessment activities, on-going services, personnel development and community outreach, and insures procedural safeguards for children and their families. These services are offered through the Baltimore City Infants & Toddlers Program and are designed to enhance a child's potential for growth and development before he or she reaches school age.
