Description

A successful audition is the key to experience the magic and exhilaration of performing in musical theatre productions. This Musical Theatre Audition Workshop will offer training in basic audition technique and etiquette. The students will learn that audition success is determined not by talent alone, but by the entire ?package.? Each student will receive individual singing and theatrical coaching as well as dance audition tips. The workshop will culminate with a mock audition and instructors' feedback.

Services Provided

This camp is held August 16 - 20. At the end of the five-day course, every student will have an audition book that the instructors feel is appropriate and fitting for that student to have successful auditions. Included in the fee is the text, How to Audition for the Musical Theatre: A step-by-step guide to effective preparation by Donald Oliver. An accompaniment ape/CD of the student's audition repertoire will also be provided as well as the sheet music.
