Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese healing technique that allows individuals to tap into the natural "life-force energy" for stress reduction and relaxation. Reiki is performed by placing the hands on areas of the body that are experiencing pain and/or contain negative energy. As Reiki flows through a sick or unhealthy area, it breaks up and washes away any negativity lodged in the mind or body, thus allowing a health flow of energy to resume.
