This program has begun its 21st year as a structured shelter care facility that provides high levels of care for 100-120 at-risk female adolescents per year, ages 12 through 18, for a maximum of 90 days. This facility services youth from all DJS durisdictions within the State, referals are quickly processed via initial phone contact and fax correspondence. Facility functions with a levels system that is built upon the principles of behavior modification; there is an on-site Level III nonpublic school; the program provides drug and alcohol screen and education; and it provides support services for families.
