Services Provided

Program Description: High school service learning Student Executive Council comprised of over 16 metropolitan area public and private schools. Community Action Projects are offered every weekend during the school year facilitated by trained college students. Incorporate lesson plan on social issues, direct service such as renovating low-income houses and a reflective component. All programs include teambuilding and leadership development. Middle School Program - Operation A.W.A.R.E. is a 12-week civic engagement program offered at local middle schools and after-school centers. It incorporates a community mapping, panel discussions with community leaders and instructions on how to design and implement youth directed projects.
