Program
Our mission is to improve the health of adolescents in Maryland by providing leadership in comprehensive, interdisciplinary, individualized health care; research leading to improved health, developmental, and behavioral outcomes; training and educating professionals from a variety of disciplines regarding adolescent health and development; advocating on behalf of adolescents and their families; and facilitating collaboration among the many organizations in Maryland and in the region that provide services to adolescents and their families. Areas of Focus: Community Service, Other (Health and Clinical Services) Program Description: Primary care services, immunizations, prevention, annual sport camp and work physicals · Reproductive services, including pregnancy testing and evaluations, emergency contraception, and other contraceptive technologies · Education, evaluation, and counseling for psychosocial issues related to STDs, pregnancy, substance abuse, and depression · Evaluation, counseling, and case management related to sexual/physical abuse, substance abuse, psych care · Employment and education assistance · Free, confidential and anonymous HIV/AIDS counseling and testing
