Description

Conducted by the professionals at Ultimate Water Sports, Extreme Camp combines the excitement of outdoor adventure on the water with the learning opportunities of a certified sailing and kayaking school. Campers will learn how to windsurf, sea kayak and sail.

Services Provided

Located at Gunpowder Falls State Park, children will work within an on-going water sports curriculum, while gaining an understanding of Chesapeake Bay ecology, environmental stewardship, wind and weather, water safety, and self-rescue. This program is designed to meet the needs of young sailors and paddlers of all abilities, from novice to racing. Equipment for all activities is provided. Campers need to bring a bag lunch, swimsuit, water sport shoes, sun block and sneakers. Daily roundtrip transportation to Ultimate Watersports is provided.

Eligibility Requirements

Basic swimming ability is necessary.

Dates: Weekly, June 21 to July 30 Tuition: 1 week $345, 2 weeks $680, 3 weeks $1,025, 4 weeks $1,370, 5 weeks $1,715 6 weeks $1,991, 4th of July week $276
