Description

McDonogh Summer Programs is proud to announce our new Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program. An introduction to the demands and responsibility of a counselor's job, the CIT program offers hands-on experience in a supervised setting. Participants will learn activity planning, first-aid, CPR, group-management and leadership skills, as well as leadership and group cooperation techniques

Services Provided

CITs will have the opportunity to use their newly-learned skills as they assist in the day-to-day operations of Camp Red Eagle and Camp Red Feather. CITs who successfully complete the program at the age of 16 will be eligible for future employment at McDonogh Summer Programs. A certificate of completion will be awarded to all successful participants.

Eligibility Requirements

Ages: Boys and Girls 14 to 16 A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 students will be accepted into each session.

Dates: Session 1: June 19 to July 7 Session 2: July 10 to July 28 Tuition: One session: $735

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (M-F)
